Deputy Executive Manager, IT Investment Portfolio Financial Management

Job Summary

The job holder is to lead and manage Agile teams in delivering effective IT solutions while ensuring alignment with the organization's Agility Framework. The job holder will be responsible for driving a predictable development delivery cadence and facilitating strong stakeholder engagement to support requirement-related activities. This includes liaising with internal stakeholders and product owners to analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements, transforming them into clear user stories that the development teams can easily understand and implement.

Major Tasks

  • Accountable for the overall management and execution of requirements for projects, ensuring clarity in functional and non-functional areas.
  • Oversee the scrum delivery process to ensure development deliverables are achieved within the agreed timescale, quality, and budget.
  • Coach and mentor scrum teams on Agile practices, focusing on the creation of high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done.
  • Ensure that project goals, scope, and product domains are clearly understood and documented in a well-organized product backlog.
  • Facilitate the removal of impediments to enhance the efficiency of scrum teams in a scaled Agile environment.
  • Identify and manage relationships with stakeholders and third parties through effective communication.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Agility Framework and support consistent Agile adoption across the organization.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Qualifications

  • Scrum Master Certification (e.g., Scale Agile, Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
  • Agile Scrum Manager certification preferred, with Leading SAFe - Scaled Agile certification as a plus.
