Equestrian Services Co-ordinator (Beas River Equestrian Centre)
The Department
The Equestrian Affairs Department aims to fulfil the Club’s vision to promote riding as a sport and raise participation at all levels, from beginner through to elite. It oversees the management of four equestrian centres, including the Member’s facility at the Beas River Country Club and three public riding schools at Tuen Mun, Pokfulam and Lei Yue Mun.
The Job
You will:
- Assist in the day-to-day operation of the Equestrian Reception Counter and Stable Office, including:
- Administration duties

- Coordinate horse riding lesson requests and pony ride booking, maintain records of lesson booking
- Update and follow up action for Waiting List and Cancellation record
- Clerical support to Riding Instructors
- Prepare various charges for the riding school and livery charges
- Provide feedbacks and suggestions to management in daily operation issues
- Member Services

- Provide excellent customer services to HKJC members and guests
- Attend to all inquiries and requests via telephone, emails and text messages with regards to BREC and Riding School
- Handle members’ inquires in a courteous and efficient manner; report members’ complaints or issues to management
- Assist in members’ enquiry for the transactions charged
- Responsible for the general enquiries, retail sales and inventory control of the Tack Shop
- Support Head of School Line to monitor school horse/pony usage
- Stable Office

- Handle for Vet & Fodder Item and prepare charges accordingly
- Assist to coordinate with Equestrian Supervisors, Riding Instructors and Stable staff for the lesson, turnout, horse walker exercise and vet check arrangement
- Data update of each horse in/out movement
- Clerical support to Equestrian Supervisors and Vets
- Assist stable staff for handling leave application and HR issue
- Have full knowledge of BREC and being capable to take action in meeting and exceed the HKJC brand standard.
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Operations Manager, the Chief Riding Instructor(s), Senior Administration Officer or Admin Officer.
About You
You should have:
- High School Diploma as a minimum; tertiary education will be an asset
- With experience of administrative support or with Administration/Management/Finance studies qualification
- With experience in customer service
- Working experience in equine industry will be an asset
- Intermediate level in using MS Office applications
- Good interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
- Good communication skills in spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Can work under stress and able to meet monthly deadlines
