Manager, Incident Management & Crisis Management

The Division

The Security, Integrity and Information Security (SIIS) Division is responsible for the Club’s integrity by combatting criminality, corruption, and information security risks, including cyber security that may impact business. Through robust governance and proactive security measures, SIIS is dedicated to maintaining a secure environment and upholding uncompromising integrity across Club operations.

Job Summary

The job holder reports to Deputy Executive Manager, Emergency Planning & Resilience (DEM EPR) in the Corporate Security Team. He / she is responsible for contributing to the success of the Club Wide Incident Management & Crisis Management (IMCM) Programme. The job holder will play a key role in monitoring the environment and coordinating with Club’s departments to ensure preparedness for IMCM as well as in supporting the response to live incidents.  

The Job

  • Supports Head of Corporate Security (HoCS) and Deputy Executive Manager, Emergency Planning & Resilience (DEM EPR) by acting as functional expert throughout the life cycle of live incidents; including triage, Incident Management Team activation, impact assessment, process support, log and record keeping, situation reports, supporting and tracking communications, post incident review, and follow up activities.
  • Supports the HoCS & DEM EPR to ensure the Club Wide IMCM Plan is kept updated, fit for purpose, and ‘ready to go’ to cover the response to any type of incident on Race Days and Non-Race Days; including all aspects of administration, awareness, relationship building, assurance, governance, training, exercising, and reporting to management.
  • Supports HoCs and DEM EPR and the 24/7 Security Control Centre to effectively monitor the environment for potential impacts to Club Operations and to keep stakeholders aware and updated of potential impacts as needed.
  • Supports DEM EPR to train and exercise stakeholders on all aspects of IMCM.
  • Supports the HoCS and DEM EPR to integrate the Emergency Plans and IMCMP into the upcoming Club Wide Business Continuity Management Policy and Plan (also under SIIS) such that the Emergency Response Plans, IMCM Plans, and BCM together support a wider and robust resilience Club wide.
  • Supports DEM EPR to coordinate with project teams to develop and operationalize all aspects of IMCM for the Alley Oop (Basketball) and Mainland CRC Racing 2026. These are both new businesses.
  • Supports DEM EPR to deliver other tasks as needed.

About You

  • A university degree in any discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, including 2-3 years’ experience in all aspects of Incident and Crisis Management.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Cantonese is preferred. Mandarin is as advantage.
  • Network of contacts in the Incident Management space preferable.
  • Relevant Security, Resilience, IT, Cyber Security and / or Incident Management qualifications an advantage.
