Senior Charities Officer (Integrated Reporting)

Job Summary

The purpose is to communicate the Club's and Trust's commitment to societal betterment through various initiatives and to ensure transparent reporting of their business, social, and environmental performance. The job holder functions by overseeing corporate reporting, data verification, and impact measurement, aiming for precision and timeliness in communications. Its scope includes developing and delivering integrated reports, environmental sustainability reports, and data analytics projects to support the Club's strategic goals and public value contributions.

Major Tasks

  • To assist the development of the publication plan (timelines, milestones and resource allocation), report structure and content for the HKJCCT Impact Report
  • To support the Environmental Data Review Project with reviewed environmental dataset, findings and recommendations
  • To support the development of the content (including the related dataset for third-party verification) for the HKJC Environmental Report.
  • To assist data consolidation, analysis and verification duties that support various reporting initiatives to ensure data quality
  • To support the development of the publication plan (timelines, milestones and resource allocation) and the proposing of the report methodology (reporting scope, metrics and disclosure requirements), framework and structure for the HKJC new Sustainability Report
  • To support the development of the Environmental Sustainability Chapter according to the plan and requirements of the HKJC Annual Report led by Corporate Affairs Division
  • To assist the external consultant for the development and validation of the HKJC Integrated Reporting Framework to articulate the value creation by the Club's unique integrated business model
  • To collaborate with the Impact Measurement and Reporting team in establishing practical methodology, and formulating the data and system requirements that effectively capture and showcase the value and social impact created by the Club and the Trust
  • To collaborate with the Corporate Affairs Division in ensuring alignment with Club-wide publications and writing standards
  • To execute administrative duties and ad-hoc tasks/ projects delegated by supervisor

Education

University degree (any discipline)
