Senior Engineer, Application Development

Job Summary

The job holder plays a crucial role in enhancing the organization's operational efficiency across various departments by managing and analyzing large datasets, and disseminating significant information to support system integrity and performance. This involves participating in cross-functional projects to consolidate business requirements, coordinates with IT teams for system implementation, and facilitates UAT and training. Key functions include planning, organizing, and controlling projects to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions within agreed timelines and budgets, ultimately driving business growth and improving customer experience.

Major Tasks

Act as a troubleshooting center by identifying root causes of system issues and coordinating with IT to provide feasible solutions.
Compile and perform UAT according to business processes and operating procedures.
Prepare training materials and deliver user training prior to system implementation.
Collaborate with internal teams to carry out business process improvement projects and workflow redesigns.
Assist in identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Query and visualize data to present meaningful insights to management.
Provide regular reports, assessments, and recommendations to management regarding system performance and improvements.
Ensure proper project documentation and compliance with relevant policies and legal requirements.
Coordinate with users for business requirements gathering and prioritize them against available resources.
Evaluate post-implementation results for necessary system adjustments and operational adaptations.
Undertakes other duties as assigned by Line Manager

Education

A diploma or above in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Management of Information Systems, Economics, or Statistics.
