Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling. 

The Division
The Racing Division is committed to managing all aspects of Hong Kong’s world-class sport of horse racing, covering the full value chain — from importation and training to racedays, equestrian, welfare, integrity, and international engagement.  With Conghua Racecourse and Greater Bay Area expansion, we’re shaping racing into a dynamic sporting, social, and entertainment experience.

The Department 
Specialized in creating and implementing educational curricula tailored for apprentice jockeys within the Club's riding school. The job holder is pivotal in designing a structured learning environment that combines practical horsemanship skills, riding techniques, race tactics, fitness training, and knowledge of equine care and safety regulations. The job holder collaborates closely with experienced jockeys, trainers, and industry experts to ensure that the content and delivery methods are relevant, up-to-date, and meet the specific needs of aspiring jockeys. The job involves monitoring the progress of apprentices, providing feedback, and adjusting the programmes to optimize learning outcomes. It is essential for preparing the next generation of jockeys to meet the high standards of professionalism and excellence expected by the Club, ensuring that they are well-equipped for the physical and strategic demands of competitive racing.

 

The Job

  • Support the team to provide quality materials or services to the training and riding lessons.
  • Liaise with different parties to support the operation needs and lesson arrangement.
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Management.

About You

  • Hands-on experience in MS Office such as Word , Excel and Powerpoint
