The Job
- Agile Delivery Management
- Lead Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) across multiple Scrum teams to ensure consistent and efficient delivery
- Foster alignment with the Club’s Agility Framework and Agile Centre of Excellence, ensuring standard practices are followed
- Monitor and track delivery progress using Agile dashboards and metrics, proactively identifying and resolving impediments
- Drive delivery predictability and transparency
- Cross-Squad Delivery Oversight
- Support DEM to lead cross Scrum teams, ensuring dependencies are managed and delivery is aligned with program milestones and business priorities
- Identify and proactively resolve inter-team risks, bottlenecks and conflicts
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Project Managers, to ensure requirements are clear, prioritised, and delivered
- Team Leadership and Coaching
- Mentor and guide Scrum Masters to adopt best practices and continuously improve Agile delivery processes
- Actively promote a culture of collaboration, self-organisation, and continuous improvement within teams
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with Product team, Tech team, IT BAU, program leaders and other key stakeholders to align delivery efforts with strategic objectives
- Act as immediate escalation point for delivery issues across squads, and report to DEM as appropriate
- Provide regular updates on delivery status, risks, and mitigation plans to senior management
- Agile Metrics and Reporting
- Define and govern delivery dashboards and reporting standards, including maintaining key Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts, cycle time) to provide transparency on delivery progress and performance
- Use data-driven insights to recommend improvements in Agile delivery practices
- Responsible Gambling
- Ensure compliance with Responsible Gambling Policy (RGP) and all stipulated legal requirements pertaining to wagering, thereby protecting the integrity of the Club’s business
- Others
- Undertake other duties as assigned by Line Manager
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in Agile delivery, with at least 5 years in a role similar to a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Release Train Engineer
- Proven experience managing Agile teams in a scaled environment in a distributed setup
- Proficient in Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Strong understanding of scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS) or similar
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and product development lifecycle (PDLC)
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certifications (e.g., SAFe, Scrum@Scale, PMI-ACP) are a plus
