The Division
The Racing Division is committed to managing all aspects of Hong Kong’s world-class sport of horse racing, covering the full value chain — from importation and training to racedays, equestrian, welfare, integrity, and international engagement. With Conghua Racecourse and Greater Bay Area expansion, we’re shaping racing into a dynamic sporting, social, and entertainment experience.
Job Summary
The Broadcasting Operations team delivers comprehensive horse racing broadcast services, including live race coverage, programme production, promotional content creation, graphic presentation of betting and racing information, and documentary production. Content is distributed through television broadcasters, racecourse large video screens, and the Club's closed-circuit television network.
The Chinese Telecast Section is responsible for the production and packaging of Chinese-language horse racing programmes for local and international broadcast platforms. The section supports live and recorded telecasts, overseas simulcast operations, and the presentation of racing content to audiences and betting customers worldwide.
The Job
- Operate and monitor the Racecourse Integrated Display System (RCIDS) for the timely and accurate presentation of racing, betting, and promotional information on the racecourse CCTV network and Large Video Screens during race meetings
- Conduct pre-race system testing, operational checks, and data verification to ensure the integrity and uninterrupted delivery of live information and display services
- Assist in the creation, coordination, and quality control of display content, including computer graphics, animations, and multimedia presentations for racecourse and broadcast platforms
- Provide production support for in-house television commercials, promotional programmes, and other audiovisual projects
- Ensure all assigned duties are performed in compliance with the Club's Responsible Gambling Policy, relevant wagering regulations, and operational procedures
- Carry out ad hoc assignments and operational duties as directed by the Line Manager
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in computer graphics or related disciplines
- A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
- Experience in Live TV broadcasting a must
- Experience in operating the following software is required
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Premiere
- Experience in database management such as SQL and XML programming an advantage
- Hands-on skills in PC software e.g. Photoshop, After Effects
- Knowledge in non-linear editing system such as Adobe Premiere
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Chinese input methods (Cangjie, Quick, or Pinyin) and a Chinese typing speed of at least 20 characters per minute
- Willingness to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, and overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays
