The Racing Division is committed to managing all aspects of Hong Kong’s world-class sport of horse racing, covering the full value chain — from importation and training to racedays, equestrian, welfare, integrity, and international engagement. Job Summary

The Broadcasting Operations team is responsible for live coverage of horse racing in Hong Kong, production of related promotional video, formatting betting and racing-related information into TV graphic displays and documentaries for on-air at TV stations as well as display on the giant display screens and closed-circuit TV network at the racecourses. The Chinese Racing Program Production (CRPP) Team in Broadcasting Operations is responsible for producing and packaging racing television programs, both for local broadcasting by terrestrial free-to-air television, pay cable television, overseas simulcasting operations of which betting on Hong Kong’s horse racing is operated.

The job holder reports to Senior Manager, Broadcasting Operations (Chinese Racing Program Production) and is providing racing and wagering information to both local and overseas customers. The jobholder is also responsible for conducting wagering program content, statistical analysis, and preparing scripts for Club’s website, apps and TV programs.

The Job

Handles Race Day live telecasts (local and simulcast)
Assists and supports Producers to handle production of Racing Programs, includes local races and simulcasts
Operates non-linear video editing tools, graphics design tools and EVS
Ensures compliance with Responsible Gambling Policy (RGP) and all stipulated legal requirements pertaining to wagering, thereby protecting the integrity of the Club’s business
Undertakes other duties as assigned by Line Manager

About You

Tertiary education of media production major on TV production or communication
At least 3 years working experience in TV program production and relevant industry
Hands-on skills in the use of non-linear video editing workstation preferable in PREMIERE, AVID, PHOTOSHOPS
Proficient on operate EVS
Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese
