The Division

Job Summary

The Broadcasting Operations team delivers live coverage of Hong Kong horse racing, producing high-impact promotional videos, dynamic TV graphics (betting/racing data), and documentaries for broadcast on TV stations, giant display screens, and the racecourse’s closed-circuit TV network.

The job holder reports to Senior Manager Broadcasting Operations and is responsible for operational role during live racing. You will also be responsible for producing motion graphics and 2D/3D creative production for broadcasting TV Racing programs to enrich the visual impact for on-course CCTV Channels, giant Video Display Screen, and broadcasting TV Station Programme.

The Job

• Handles the operation of multimedia graphics systems to generate real-time graphics and animations for live horse racing and TV program productions
• Conducts pre-race data checking and preparation on a routine bases
• Designs and creates 3D graphic elements and animations
• Develops storyboards and works independently in the production of promotion videos and program ID productions
• Works closely with other teammates and reports to supervisor timely to ensure smooth operation
• Produces clear and concise verbal and written communications
• Ensures compliance with Responsible Gambling Policy (RGP) and all stipulated legal requirements pertaining to wagering, thereby protecting the integrity of the Club’s business
• Undertakes other duties as assigned by Line Supervisor

About You

• Diploma or above in Multi-media, Graphic Design or related disciplines
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in solid experience in computer graphics industry
• Good communication and interpersonal skills as a team player
• Ability to work under pressure, be self-motivated and independent
• Good command in both English and Chinese
• Willingness to work on shift including on weekends and public holidays
• Willingness to travel and may need to work in the Mainland for a short period of time
