Cameraperson

The Job

  • Supports professional TV camera operations during race meetings and overseas simulcast races
  • Handles Morning track-work shooting and Barrier Trial at both racecourses
  • Supports Studio TV program production
  • Supports in-house video productions
  • Oversees TV studio and equipment repair & maintenance
  • Provides trainings on technical skills for part-time camerapersons
  • Ensures compliance with Responsible Gambling Policy (RGP) and all stipulated legal requirements pertaining to wagering, thereby protecting the integrity of the Club’s business
  • Undertakes other duties as assigned by Senior Cameraperson and Line Manager

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Multimedia, Film & Video, Photography or relevant discipline
  • A minimum of 5 year’s camera working experience for TV or Video Production house
  • Solid knowledge of different TV cameras and equipment modes of operation, camera technology
  • Ability to effectively grasp the camera operation skills
  • Post-production knowledge an advantage
  • Good communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written Chinese and English, Mandarin an advantage
  • Strong sense of aesthetics and self-motivation

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
