Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.

The Department

Our Catering Department manages one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong. We provide a wide range of catering, sports and recreation facilities for Members and their guests in three Clubhouses. In addition, both Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses have numerous catering facilities used by Members, non-members and corporate organizations for a variety of functions.

The Job

• Support in improving internal cost control process and cost standards implementation and improvement
• Assist in system and workflow improvements for operations through cost review and cost standard establishment.
• Provide support in supply chain analytics, which includes demand forecasting, order processing, inventory management.
• Assist in identifying and reviewing revenue and cost drivers to explore opportunities for continuous improvement on financial performance.
• Provide financial insights and business opportunities to senior on driving gross profit improvement and productivity.
• Support managers to drive the effectiveness and efficiency on revenue and cost management for the business units through KPIs and analytical tool.
• Assist in implementing Business Intelligence tools for business analysis.
• Undertake additional duties as and when assigned by Supervisor.

About You

• A diploma in Hotel & Catering Management or equivalent
• 1 year working experience in hospitality food & beverage operations
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Sound PC knowledge on Excel and practical experience on Chinese input
• Fluent communication in both English and Chinese
• Sound interpersonal skills
