Deputy Executive Manager, Charities

The Job

You will:

  • Support leadership in planning and designing roadmaps for key projects; collaborate with departments to review processes for improvements.
  • Oversee project planning by evaluating capabilities, resources, risks, and timelines; manage assigned projects to ensure quality deliverables and address emerging issues.
  • Lead implementation planning, including developing standard operating procedures and conducting evaluations for ongoing improvement.
  • Safeguard project governance to ensure deliverables meet specifications; manage budgets and prepare reports on progress and financial status.
  • Ensure compliance with policies; explore collaboration opportunities and monitor project spending and outcomes.
  • Engage stakeholders and support team development and cross-department collaboration to enhance project outcomes.

About You

You should have:

  • Bachelor degree in a Business Management or related discipline.
  • At least 8-10 years relevant experience in business process improvement projects or operations management.
  • Experience in business event management and delivery and communications for international and/or regional organisations/federations.
  • Experience with working in leading consulting firms preferred but not necessary.
  • Knowledge and experience in project management is a must (at least 5 years in managerial role).
  • Extensive experience in dealing with different stakeholders.
  • Six-sigma certified preferred.

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
