Deputy Executive Manager, IT Technology Capability Development
The Job
You will:
- Establish a comprehensive job family framework that outlines the skills, competencies, and career pathways for various IT roles. Ensure periodic reviews to adapt to evolving technology needs
- Design and implement targeted training programs that address specific skills gaps within IT teams. Focus on technical skills development, and relevant certifications, and collaborate with P&OD for the leadership training
- Work closely with HR to define talent development strategies that include clear career progression paths tailored specifically for IT roles. Facilitate employee growth and enhance retention through structured opportunities for advancement
- Stay informed about emerging technologies to update training programs accordingly, ensuring that our workforce remains current with industry trends and practices. Adapt strategies based on insights from industry benchmarks to keep our teams at the forefront of technological advancements
- Collaborate closely with HR to maintain an up-to-date view of all IT roles and resources within the Club, including tracking vacancies for both HK and SZ. Report on key metrics such as attrition rates, time to hire, critical hires, and promotions
- Participate and contribute positively to the creation of a diverse and inclusive culture based on trust and respect. Play an active role in supporting cross-team, divisional, and departmental efforts, and model collaborative behaviours. Inspire the team to generate ideas and solutions that empower individuals and accelerate business success

About You
You should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management or related field
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Information Technology, Business Management or Talent Management
- Proven experience in an IT role with a strong understanding of various job functions within technology
- A good knowledge of technology training and development programmes, certification schemes, sources of training, how training can be effectively delivered in a technology environment, etc.
- A good knowledge of tools and technologies to be used in IT and how to apply them for talent development & management
- Experience in promoting diversity & inclusive culture in the IT field will be a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills to assess training needs and cultural dynamics within IT
- Agile and quick learner, capable of operating in an evolving change situation. Understand the challenges and explore ways to overcome it

- Experience managing within a complex matrix environment
- A good team player with good project management skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Confluence, JIRA or the relevant tools
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with care
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, and Chinese is a plus
