Manager, Betting Systems Implementation (UAT Lead; 1-year renewable contract)

The Division
The Sports Business Division is central to the Club’s overall aspiration to become a globally recognised sports and entertainment brand, with world-class horse racing at its core. The Division’s overarching focus is to deliver sustainable growth of the Club’s sports business, deepen customer engagement, and contribute to position the Club as a leading global sports and entertainment brand to enable its commitment to social betterment. Its strategy is delivered through three pillars: broadening the fan base and prospecting new customers, growing the sports wagering business, and building the Club’s brand and commercialising its assets.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced team member to lead testing operations and drive the successful delivery of enhancements across our betting systems. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end UAT planning and execution, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure system changes meet business needs and performance standards. You will play a pivotal part in uplifting testing effectiveness, guiding team development, and supporting the continual evolution of our software solutions.
The Job
- Oversee and maintain UAT environments and related testing tools to support efficient user acceptance testing
- Analyse user requirements and interpret system documentation for new business features and enhancements
- Define test strategies, objectives, and coverage; review and approve test cases
- Lead and execute UAT to validate system enhancements and ensure readiness for business operations
- Track, monitor, and report UAT progress, ensuring compliance with quality standards and project timelines
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, business users, and cross-functional teams to align testing activities
- Identify, document, and follow through on defects or issues discovered during testing
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members, strengthening UAT capabilities and best practices
- Ensure all testing activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and operational integrity standards
- Perform additional duties assigned by the line manager
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline is required
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) is advantageous
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience in testing, analysis, programming, or IT project management
- Strong experience in system testing, with a focus on both manual and automated testing methodologies
