Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.

The Division

The Charities and Community (C&C) Division manages strategic planning, grant donations, impactful project initiation, community engagement, and the day-to-day operations of the HKJC Charities Trust. C&C works with the Government, NGOs, and community partners to proactively identify root causes of social issues and address them through innovative approaches and cross-sectoral collaboration.

The Job

• Work with programme team, stakeholders (including vendors) and other ineternal departments to gather, validate and document business requirements.
• Model business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Identify issues, risks, and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outline business impacts.
• Support the team in implementing and testing of solutions.
• Assist in building a resources library and provide appropriate methodologies, guidelines, and tools to the programme team to manage projects in an effective and professional manner in the aspects for the use of ICT.
• Coordinate project meetings such as presentatoin of meeting agendas, papers, PowerPoints, notes, minutes, and logistic arrangements.
• Provide administrative support such as housekeeping of data, documents and meeting schedules, room reservations, filing, and mailing.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the hiring manager and department management.

About You

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years' experience in project and event management or marketing with at least 3 years in managerial level
• Experience in digital marketing and event management
• Experience in leading publicity campaign and vendor management
• Experience in working with government, NGO's, schools, and professional bodies
• Experience in ICT solution design, Implementation and management would be an added advantage
• Skilled in project management, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
• Data platform or system management, research project management experience would be an added advantage
