The Job

  • AOP Programme Risk Management
    • Support the Senior Manager, Project Risk, in maintaining the end‑to‑end Programme Risk Management Framework for AOP, helping to identify emerging risks and track mitigation actions
    • Assist in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the programme risk framework, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation across business operations and product delivery
    • Contribute to the development and upkeep of programme‑wide risk policies, governance documentation, and supporting materials in line with direction from senior leadership
    • Help maintain the programme’s risk taxonomy, risk appetite statements, tolerance levels, Risk Register, and Control Library, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date
    • Support the population and ongoing maintenance of a comprehensive Risk Register capturing programme, operational, technology, regulatory, and enterprise risks, clearly documenting impacts, likelihoods, controls, and ownership
    • Assist with updates to the Control Library to reflect changes in programme scope, audit feedback, incidents, control enhancements, and regulatory updates
  • Cross‑Functional Risk Advisory (Support & Coordination)
    • Provide risk input into technology discussions, change initiatives, and go‑live readiness activities under the guidance of senior risk stakeholders
    • Work closely with key Club stakeholders to ensure risk considerations are captured in programme activities and decision‑making
    • Support the coordination of independent risk reviews, assurance activities, and internal audits by preparing documentation, tracking actions, and liaising with reviewers
    • Contribute risk analysis and insights to cross‑functional working groups where risk support is required
  • Data Analytics, Reporting & Insights
    • Support the collection, consolidation, and analysis of risk data across operational, technology and delivery domains
    • Assist with preparing risk reports and insights for programme and senior management forums
    • Help maintain risk dashboards and reporting that track key operational metrics, system stability, and key risk indicators (KRIs)
    • Support post‑incident analysis by gathering data, analysing contributing factors, and documenting lessons learned to inform control improvements
    • Assist in preparing clear, executive‑ready risk summaries highlighting trends, incidents, and emerging risk areas
  • Ensures compliance with Responsible Gambling Policy (RGP) and all stipulated legal requirements pertaining to wagering, thereby protecting the integrity of the Club’s business
  • Undertakes other duties as assigned by the Line Manager

 

About you

  • Degree in business, finance, risk, data, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in risk, operations, trading, compliance, or a related analytical role (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret data and identify trends or anomalies
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and critical‑thinking capabilities, with the ability to break down complex risk challenges, identify root causes, evaluate risk severity, and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Excellent documentation and writing skills, capable of producing clear and structured risk assessments, policies, frameworks, governance materials, and audit‑ready artifacts
