The Division
The Property Department is committed to providing integrated, customer-centric, sustainable and cost effective asset management, development management, project management and facilities management services to the key Business Units in the Club.
Job Summary
The primary purpose of the job is to assist the Senior Manager, Property Project Management in managing the project team comprising of external consultants, contractors and suppliers as well as internal cross-divisional groups in design stage through to completion, handover to stakeholders and defects rectification.
The Job
- Assist the Senior Manager, Property Project Management in managing the project team comprising of external consultants, contractors and suppliers as well as internal cross-divisional groups in design stage through to completion, handover to stakeholders and defects rectification
- Support in formulating the project scopes and project programme as well as the budget
- Support on design and procurement throughout the project life cycle to ensure project operations are complying to design requirements, statutory regulations, within budget and agreed timeline
- Vet all deliverables including the feasibility study, design reports and drawings, specifications, tender documents, shop drawings, materials and method statements
- Provide professional advice, including but not limited to architectural builder’s works and finishes aspects, to operator enquiries regarding alteration & renovations of existing facilities to support the Club's business objectives
- Liaise and co-ordinate with external consultants, contractors, statutory parties as well as internal service providers and internal users for execution of site activities
- Be responsible for project monitoring and control in terms of time, cost and safety to ensure the projects are delivered on time within budget and achieve the specific project objective
- Be responsible for project quality control by managing the contractors and supplier’s performance throughout all project stages to ensure the works quality is up to the Club standard and compliance to the statutory requirements
- Assist in preparing project documentations including presentation decks, meeting minutes, drawings, tender document and budget approval request, etc.
About You
- A degree in Architectural, Construction Project Management, Building Surveying or equivalent with relevant professional qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in design, liaison among government departments / utility companies, project and construction management, ideally with experience in both new building and addition & alteration works
- Experience in both consultant firms and developer company is preferred
- Possess all rounded full cycle experience from concept design to the end of defects liability period
- Skilled at leveraging technical knowledge to diagnose and solve problems
- Good communication, coordination and reporting skills
- Conversant with Hong Kong construction and building related legislations and submission process
- Familiar with AutoCAD, BIM and MS Project with hands-on experience in using MS Office applications
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese
