The Job

  • Vendor relationship and performance management
    • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
    • Monitor vendor performance against KPIs and service levels
    • Conduct vendor evaluation and feedback processes, and drive continuous improvement
    • Identify and manage vendor-related risks
    • Handle and support dispute resolution
  • Vendor management, governance, and compliance
    • Enhance ongoing vendor performance management and ensure the processes are transparent and auditable by leveraging the Vendor Management Tool
    • Ensure processes adhere to corporate governance standards and relevant policies
  • Contract & SOW Management
    • Partner with Procurement to negotiate contracts and SOWs to mitigate risks
    • Ensure all contract documents are compliant, auditable, and properly governed
    • Maintain contract repository and dashboards for transparency and tracking
    • Manage renewal of contracts
  • Analytics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
    • Perform analytics, including vendor spend analysis, risks and compliance analysis, and reporting
    • Identify cost savings and efficiency opportunities
    • Support change management and innovation in vendor management practic   
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (such as IT, Procurement, Legal, business units, etc) and external vendors
    • Translate business needs into procurement and contract requirements
    • Support AOP delivery through effective vendor management
  • Protect the Club’s interests at all times
    • Protect the Club’s interests in all forms of commercial and contractual disputes, work closely with Legal to advise on the most appropriate route/mechanism to mitigate commercial exposure/liability and achieve satisfactory resolution
    • Understand and comply with all relevant policies, processes and procedures
  • Undertakes other duties as assigned by the Line Manager

 

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Information Technology or related disciplines
  • 5-8 years of relevant work experience in a sizable organisation
  • Good understanding of the Vendor Management framework and market practice
  • Proactive, mature & self-confident with good business acumen
  • Possess a high level of integrity, work ethic, and good moral values             
  • Good analytical and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of contract management and contract negotiation skills
  • A good team player with good project management skills to meet timelines 
  • A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Power BI is a plus  
  • Sound knowledge of procurement category management is a plus
