Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.

The Division

The Wagering Products (WP) Division is responsible for driving the wagering business strategy and results for the Club through the wagering products of Horse Racing (Local and Overseas), Basketball, Football, Mark 6 Lottery and International Commingling with the aim to drive wagering turnover and revenue growth in a socially responsible manner.

The Job

• Support the operations of the Betting Operations Control Centre (Operations and Optimisation) by working on roster-based shifts round the clock, including Sundays and public holiday
• Assist supervisors in performing regular operation duties and ad-hoc checking for system irregularity, strict adherence to SOP
• Support supervisors in formulating and automating operation tasks with decent plan, including daily operation of robotic processes and system testing
• Perform administrative and clerical duties, including report compilation and information verification
• Ensures compliance with Responsible Gambling Policy and all stipulated legal requirements pertaining to wagering, thereby protecting the integrity of the Club's businesses
• Undertakes other duties as assigned by Line Manager

About You

• Tertiary education or above. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Fluency in Putonghua is essential
• Customer-oriented with strong communication skills in both English and Chinese
• Proficiency in computer applications for administrative work, such as MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Interest and familiarity with iPhone/iPad, Android devices and mobile apps is an advantage
• Knowledge of horse racing and football betting is an advantage
• Ability to work independently with a proactive attitude
• Willingness and ability to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
