Scrum Master (ITSD - DAS)

The Job

You will:

• Lead agile scrum teams to deliver quality products on time and within budget

• Ensure adherence to agile methodology processes and practices

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, development teams, and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

• Manage project timelines, risks, and resources to ensure successful project delivery

• Track and report on project progress, ensuring transparency and accountability

• Mentor and guide team members on agile best practices and continuous improvement

• Coordinate with other project managers and teams to align on dependencies and deliverables

• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment

• Coach and mentor scrum team members on agile principles and practices

About you

You should have:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master and/or Project Manager

• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and traditional project management practices

• Scrum master certification (PSM, CSM, SAFe, etc) is required

• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills

• Experience with agile/project management tools and software

• Experience in working with offshore development teams is an advantage

• Proficiency in English and Cantonese is required

• Proficiency in Putonghua (written and spoken) is an advantage

• Coaching and mentoring Development Teams in an environment where agile is not yet fully understood or adopted

• Helping the Development Team to create high-value products

• Removing impediments to the Development Team’s progress

• Proficiency and hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence tools

• Project and Task Planning

• Client / Stakeholder Management

• Resource Estimating & Planning

• Risk Management

• Solid understanding and in-depth experience of the software development lifecycle in waterfall and agile delivery approaches

• Data & Analytics or AI experience is an advantage
