Senior Manager, Business Performance (3-year contract)

The Job

  • Lead the implementation and operation of the performance management framework, including KPI structures, review cadences and governance processes, to ensure clear visibility of business performance and delivery against objectives
  • Partner with programme leadership and cross-functional teams to monitor programme and business performance, milestone tracking, identify risks and opportunities, and drive follow-up actions to improve delivery and commercial outcomes
  • Support end-to-end programme and business management by linking strategic priorities, financial performance, product delivery, and business results into a coherent management view
  • Develop and manage regular management reporting and dashboards, delivering timely, accurate, and actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making by senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Facilitate programme and business performance review forums, ensuring alignment across stakeholders, clear accountability for actions, and timely escalation of key issues and decisions
  • Provide leadership and coaching to junior business performance resources, building strong analytical capability, business acumen and stakeholder management skills
  • Continuously refine performance management processes, tools, and ways of working to improve efficiency, governance, and overall business impact as the programme evolves
  • Leverage data analytics and AI where possible to enhance performance analysis, forecasting, scenario planning, and insight generation, improving the quality and speed of management decisions
  • Ensures compliance with Responsible Gambling Policy (RGP) and all stipulated legal requirements pertaining to wagering, thereby protecting the integrity of the Club’s business
  • Undertakes other duties as assigned by the Line Manager

 

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, business/data analytics, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage
  • 8+ years of work experience in business management, strategy & governance, business/data analytics, programme management, or a related function
  • Strong experience in establishing or driving performance management processes, governance routines, management reporting, or executive decision support
  • Proven experience in large-scale programme delivery, transformation, or business launch initiatives involving multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups
  • Experience in sports wagering, sports business, digital product, or other fast-paced consumer businesses is an advantage
  • Experience in launching new business initiatives, products, or user platforms is an advantage
  • Demonstrated experience in team coaching and talent development is preferred
  • Strong performance management and KPI framework design skills
  • Strong programme management capability, including governance, milestone tracking, risk management, issue management, and dependency management
  • Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into practical business and programme insights.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and AI applications in performance analysis, forecasting, scenario planning, or decision support.
  • Strong knowledge of management reporting, dashboarding, and performance review processes
  • Good understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, business case evaluation, and commercial performance drivers
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and executive communication skills
  • Strong team leadership and coaching capability, with the ability to build an effective and scalable team structure
