Senior Manager, IT Contract and Partner Management

The Department
The Cyber Security Department is essential to the Club’s ongoing success, safeguarding information assets, IT systems, networks, and cloud platforms while ensuring the resilience and continuity of critical operations. Through the implementation of strong risk governance frameworks and cybersecurity standards, the department protects the Club against emerging threats and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements in Hong Kong and China.
As the first line of defense, the department plays a key role in maintaining the Club’s reputation and operational resilience. Its core responsibilities include identifying and addressing vulnerabilities, protecting sensitive information, ensuring rapid incident response, overseeing access management, and promoting Club-wide cybersecurity awareness.
The Job
You will:
1. Participate in the development of a sourcing strategy for the IT products and services covering IT infrastructure and business applications:
- Working with different stakeholders, including but not limited to the Program/Project Manager, Finance, Procurement and Legal, to create the sourcing strategy, sourcing plan and pipelines
2. Manage the execution of sourcing strategy and the relevant procurement activities, including competitive bidding and direct sourcing, throughout the Partner Management Lifecycle:
- Support the preparation of tender documents, contract drafting and negotiation to ensure that clear requirements and acceptance criteria are defined and agreed, right governance and metrics are in place to measure the performance of our partners
- Managing ongoing relationships and preparing contract status/ SLA report on the execution, managing issues and problems
- Ensure timely escalation of key problems and issues identified during the procurement activities and in the contract
3. Support and execute the IT partner management guidelines for key IT partners:
- Implement the IT partner management guideline to manage the assigned key IT vendors to monitor their performance and risks, and meet the Club’s expectations
4. Protect the Club’s interests at all times:
- Protect the Club’s interests in all forms of commercial and contractual disputes, work closely with Legal to advise on the most appropriate route/mechanism to mitigate commercial exposure/liability and achieve satisfactory resolution
- Understand and comply with all relevant policies, processes and procedures
5. Participate and contribute positively to create a diverse and inclusive culture with trust and respect. Play an active role to support cross-team/division/department efforts and model collaborative behaviours
About You
You should have:
- Degree in Procurement, Business Administration or IT-related disciplines
- Over 8 years of experience in managing IT Procurement and Vendor Management in a sizable organisation
- Strong contract management and negotiation skills
- Strong vendor management skills and experience in managing key IT vendors, including large IT organisations
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proactive in managing assigned tasks, able to articulate issues and problems
- A good team player with good project management skills to meet and deliver assigned tasks
- Experience and knowledge with China-related procurement will be an advantage

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
