Senior Manager, IT Financial Assurance

Major Tasks

You will:

  • Lead IT financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate goals
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting on IT spending, including capital expenditures (CapEx), operational expenditures (OpEx), and project-specific costs
  • Implement and enforce financial control processes to ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee IT financial control, including adherence to budgets, approval processes, and procedural controls for IT-related financial transactions
  • Track, monitor, and analyse IT financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for cost-effectiveness
  • Create and deliver executive-level presentations summarizing financial insights, risks, and opportunities
  • Mentor and manage professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and drive continuous enhancement of processes and procedures
  • Participate and contribute positively to create a diverse and inclusive culture with trust and respect. Play an active role to support cross-team/division/department efforts and model collaborative behaviours

About You

You should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, IT or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, with a strong focus on IT financial management and financial controls
  • Qualifications as a chartered accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant is preferred
  • Project Management experience with professional project management certification a plus
  • Proven ability to manage complex financial models, analyse large data sets and drive strategic decisions
  • Expertise in financial controls and governance, including compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards
  • Strong proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing individuals
