Senior Manager, Project Delivery Quality Management (1-year contract)

The Department
The IT Change Department is crucial for ensuring the successful delivery of all IT change initiatives, whether using agile or waterfall methodologies. It is supported by a robust IT Change Management Office (CMO), which oversees the entire process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Key responsibilities of the IT change department:

The Job
You will:
- Collaborate with Business Teams and Stakeholders: Work closely with business teams and senior stakeholders to formulate analytics use cases, understand underlying data requirements and analytics capability needs, and effectively manage business demands and expectations
- Manage Stakeholder Lifecycle: Oversee the lifecycle of business stakeholders on their analytics user journey on EDAP. Assist with user inquiries by navigating towards optimal solutions and bridging communication between different parties (e.g., business teams, product managers, data scientists, development teams, vendors)
- Develop Best Practices: Formulate best practices and guidelines on data analysis technologies and techniques (e.g., data profiling, source database analysis, data mapping, data classification). Drive the adoption and continual improvement of these practices and guidelines
- Ensure Quality and Traceability: Ensure quality, ownership, and traceability of analysis deliverables and documentation (e.g., business opportunities, user stories, data mapping, data interfaces) throughout the project lifecycle
- Support Delivery Management: Collaborate with delivery management, development, and assurance teams to ensure business objectives are met through the outcomes
- Foster Inclusive Culture: Participate and contribute positively to create a diverse and inclusive culture with trust and respect. Play an active role in supporting cross-team/division/department efforts and model collaborative behaviours
- Align Personal Development: Align personal development plans with business objectives and embrace the transformation to move the team/department forward
- Oversee and Coordinate Work Packages: Help oversee and coordinate the work of BA 1 & BA 2 to tie the end-to-end process together
- Provide Strategic Insights: Ensure alignment with overall program objectives and provide strategic insights
- Facilitate Collaboration: Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders within IT and from other divisions
- Identify Tools and Opportunities: Identify tools required to support the Lean Delivery lifecycle and automation opportunities
About You
You should:
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in business analysis with large corporations
- Experience in designing and implementing end-to-end Lean Delivery processes
- Understanding of IT Risk, cybersecurity governance, and regulatory frameworks
- Ability to define and support capabilities required for effective IT-business interactions
- Familiar with tools that support the Lean Delivery lifecycle and identify automation opportunities
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and Lean principles
- Familiar with IT project management and delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Knowledge in business case writing, workshop facilitation, process mapping, or customer experience and journey mapping is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to develop effective work relationships with key stakeholders, translate technical terms, and drive discussions and consensus
- Excellent presentation, business, and problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset
- Capability to build strong working relationships with internal IT, business managers, and vendors, and must be a team player
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and Lean principles
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to analyse, re-engineer, and document complex business processes
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) preferred
- Proficiency in English is required
- Proficiency in Cantonese and Putonghua (written and spoken) is an advantage
