Senior Technical Manager, Architecture (DWP / HRIS)
The Department
The Service Delivery Department is responsible for designing and delivering “IT Digital Transformation Programme”. In addition, the department is responsible for the delivery of application solutions including Finance, HR, CRM and Enterprise Data Warehouse systems for the Club’s business portfolios and managing the IT Shenzhen delivery arm.
The Job
You will:
- Define the architecture and technology roadmap for digital workplace solutions to improve the employee experience of the Club
- Lead the architecture, design and implementation of digital workplace end-to-end solutions through various projects
- Ensure appropriate technology standards are adopted and that effective quality controls are in place
- Collaborate with business users and technology leaders to define and implement the technology roadmap and proactive technology refreshment plan to modernize the IT infrastructure in line with the defined EA roadmap
- Creation of architectural design proposals and prepare architecture reports for management and executive teams
- Conduct regular and ad-hoc standards reviews of every architecture component of the digital workplace
- Drive and promote architectural standards and policies 8 Provide architecture advice and assistance, usually definitive, to all levels of engineers and managers
About You
You should have:
- Graduate qualifications in computer science or engineering or related disciplines
- Have 10 plus years of experience in digital workplace technologies with at least 3 years of architectural responsibilities (application or technical architecture)
- Experience and knowledge in digital workplace solutions
- Experience in information systems analysis/design and architecture development experience; consultancy experience in architecture engagements a distinct advantage
- Experience and knowledge in system integration using iPaaS or any middleware technology is a plus
Technical Skills
- Ability to lead in architecture analysis, modelling, and design ensuring alignment with business and Architecture Strategy
- Understanding of Enterprise Architecture (EA) concepts and their implementation implications within the organization depending on the maturity of the organization along the EA roadmap
- Sound knowledge of DevOps and Cloud PaaS technologies
- Have current and strong development skills enabling the ability to bring architecture definition to actual implementation
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure with strong leadership and stakeholder management
- Proficiency in writing, presentation and communication skills
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Cantonese
- Professional EA certification (e.g. TOGAF) is desirable but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of SaaS-based workplace technologies such as ServiceNow Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), Microsoft 365, and DocuSign eSignature, along with substantial experience using these tools in diverse technological environments
- Strong experience in preparing system architecture-related diagrams, being able to explain the design in detail to different technology stakeholders
- Experience in system integration using middleware technologies such as Event Mash / APIM / iPaaS
- Sound knowledge of cloud PaaS technology such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and other cloud platforms.
