Senior Technical Manager, Data Centre Operation Support

The Job

You will:

• Undertake actions to maintain high system availability for business services that strictly adhere to operation procedures, monitor system and network performance, and ensure all application systems and infrastructures function properly

• Implement, maintain and support IT operations tools for system monitoring, automation and system configuration system

• Evaluate and implement appropriate solutions to support day-to-day IT Operations

• Manage and coordinate with vendors efficiently to provide business-as-usual support

• Work with various IT teams to ensure IT operations tools support the entire IT environment

• Comply with established standards and processes to ensure quality in offering technical support, handling IT incidents, problems and Change requests

• Align personal development plan with business objectives and embrace the transformation to move the team/department forward

About you

You should have:

• University degree in Computer Science, engineering or related discipline

• 5 years experience in IT Infrastructure, IT Operations or Data Centre Support

• 2 years of hands-on experience in System Monitoring, Workload Automation, Log Management Systems, host-based intrusion detection systems or file integrity monitoring solution

• Solid experience in various operating systems administration (e.g. MS Windows Server, SUSE Linux)

• 3+ years' experience in ITIL service management practices and knowledge of the ITIL Service Management Model

• Solid understanding of web monitoring and administration technologies with skills in areas of performance optimization, load balancing and security

• Knowledge of system, network and database administrations

• Familiar with Club business operations will be an advantage

• Sound knowledge of project management and relevant experience will be an advantage
