Senior Technical Manager, IT Governance Support

The Job

You will:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to review and redefine the objectives of IT-related steering committees. Support delineation of each committee scope, ensuring comprehensive coverage. Manage co-relation of committee structures, streamlining where possible to enable efficiency and agility
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date Terms of Reference (ToR) for relevant steering committees like IT Service, aligning with the Club's governance framework. Create reports measuring the performance of these governance mechanisms
  • Planned, organised, and managed various committee meetings within IT, including Management Meetings and ad hoc executive meetings. Coordinate with relevant Business members to ensure smooth meeting execution. Prepare meeting agendas and facilitate communication of meeting dates and venues to all participants
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop meeting agendas. Create and maintain meeting minutes, action logs, and key progress reports for each meeting. Follow up with responsible persons from various work streams to provide timely updates and reports. Track key milestones on a timely basis
  • Create and foster a diverse and inclusive culture with trust and respect to attract, develop and retain talents. Serve as a role model to support cross-team/division/department efforts and model collaborative behaviours. Inspire the team to bring forward ideas and solutions to empower the people to accelerate business success

About You

You should have: 

  • A university degree with master’s in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent, with at least 10 years of working experience in the IT field
  • Possess at least 5 Years of solid experience in IT project management or governance
  • Strong business acumen, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Understanding of IT governance frameworks, principles, and best practices
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of IT industry best practices, technologies, architectures and emerging technologies
  • Fluency in the written and spoken English language
  • Has integrity, is trustworthy, dependable, responsible, and accountable
  • Has driven, self-motivated with the ability to work independently, and work with other highly talented individuals
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly language for non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with care
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, and Chinese is a plus
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
