Senior Technical Manager, IT Solutions (Corporate System / Oracle Financial)

The Job

You will:

  • Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate or pilot new business-enabling technology. Coordinate with Project Manager, technical teams and consultant to evaluate potential technical solutions

  • Gather business requirements and perform business analysis to deliver the requirement specification with detailed business use cases and high-level functional design

  • Oversee the translation of business requirements into functional and technical designs that align with the agreed architectural standards / best practices

  • Work collaboratively with business users and other stakeholders throughout different stages of the project lifecycle

  • Ensures all project commitments are met. Monitors and reports on project progress and ensures all project commitments are met

  • Diagnoses and evaluates potential risks and issues throughout the projects. Report regularly to the project sponsor and senior stakeholders with regard to such risks and execute appropriate plans to contain them

  • Provide support for the production systems. Managing and coordinating with vendors efficiently to provide BAU application support

  • Inspire the team to bring forward ideas and solutions to empower the people to accelerate business success

About you

You should have:

  • Graduate qualifications in information systems, technology, business, and/or related disciplines

  • With at least 10 years of functional experience in packaged system applications implementation and support

  • Expertise in analysing business needs for Finance and procurement processes

  • Experience in IT budgeting process and project status reporting

  • With project management experience in mid-to large-scale package-based solution implementation and participated in end-to-end project lifecycle

  • Professional programme management certification (e.g. PMP or Prince2) is preferred, the expired certificate will not be accepted

  • A result-oriented and self-motivated mindset; ability to multi-tasking

  • Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation (IT teams, business users)

  • Strong ability in problem troubleshooting and diagnosis

  • Proficiency in writing, presentation and communication skills

  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua

  • Application knowledge in ERP packages / cloud-based solution implementation and ongoing support for Financials and Supply-Chain modules, including integration with related enterprise applications e.g. property and asset management solutions

  • Strong experience in business case writing, business workshop facilitation, process mapping, customer experience & journey or change management

  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, and other software development and documentation tools used in DevOps

  • Experience in different cloud technology such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or other Cloud platforms

  • Enterprise document management and workflow solutions

  • Microsoft Office applications and Power Platform, including Tableau, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
