The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.

We design, build, and operate the technology that powers the Club. Our primary focus is on delivering the service that supports our hospitality, racing and wagering operations, to ensure that our customers and members enjoy exceptional experiences.
We also deliver the changes necessary to drive business growth through new products and services. And, we are committed to safeguarding the Club by protecting it from external threats, providing a secure and resilient technological environment.
The Job
- Gather business requirements and perform impact analysis for the existing Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) platform
- Develop Unit-test scripts to support test-driven development methodology
- Perform development and configuration changes for the CIAM platform to support business initiatives
- Implement and support Single Sign-on (SSO), Multi Factor Authentication (MFA), and Conditional Access controls, ensuring authentication standards are applied consistently and exceptions are documented and governed
- Engineer and maintain identity integrations for SaaS and on-prem applications, including federation and enterprise application configurations
- Coordinate with the System Assurance (Testing) team to ensure that adequate testing scope is performed for new enhancements
- Work closely with Shenzhen development teams, System Assurance, Infrastructure and Operation teams to deliver high-quality systems
- Implement, enhance and/or automate the team's IAM workflows and processes in accordance with business requirements, the Club’s relevant information security policies and standards, to achieve both a high level of operational efficiency and cyber security posture
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline
- Must have a background in Java development
- Certifications in Agile Methodology are welcomed, but not mandatory
- Strong knowledge with containerised implementation, micro-service architecture, Restful API, Messaging Queue, e.g. Solace / Kafka
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker and ArgoCD
- Programming and developer skills in Java (mandatory) and at least one of Perl, JavaScript or Groovy
- Operational fluency in creating SQL queries, LDAP search queries, and JSON file formatting
- Working knowledge of modern identity protocols, authentication and authorisation standards, such as OAuth2, OIDC
- Working knowledge of IAM platforms, e.g. PingIdentity, ForgeRock, Okta, Azure AD, is preferred
