Technical Manager, Systems Assurance

The Department

The Service Delivery Department is responsible for designing and delivering “IT Digital Transformation Programme”. In addition, the department is responsible for the delivery of application solutions including Finance, HR, CRM and Enterprise Data Warehouse systems for the Club’s business portfolios and managing the IT Shenzhen delivery arm.

The Job

You will:

  • Conduct systems assurance testing across various software modules, including functional and non-functional tests
  • Write test plans and design test cases based on business and system requirements
  • Provide comprehensive test results and summaries to stakeholders
  • Manage and monitor test progress, including defect management and quality assessments
  • Support the development and execution of testing strategies for projects
  • Provide regular updates and reports on testing progress and outcomes to management
  • Planning of system testing activities for the multiple Corporate Systems portfolio
  • Defining Test Strategy and Test Approach for assigned work streams
  • Leading the team for the test design of the systems assurance test for application systems
  • Identify and escalate any critical issues during the testing cycle
  • Review of test deliverables, report test progress and prepare test reports

About You

You should have:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a relevant discipline
  • 8 years of solid experience in software testing
  • Experience in managing the testing of Enterprise Solutions involving multiple Systems
  • Have experience and demonstrate know-how in managing enterprise/program level testing project experience
  • Experience in bringing in a cross-functional team to work with the testing function to achieve the common goal
  • Working experience in applying/operating Test Automation and Continuous Testing under CI/CD process
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum and/or Lean principles and practices
  • Solid working knowledge of testing methodology and best practices in a complex and mission-critical technical environment. Professional qualification in testing (e.g. CSTE), software qualification (e.g. CSQA) and IT audit (CISA) will be an advantage
  • Have knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, QA process, methodologies, and best practices
  • Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua (written and spoken)
  • Fluent with Test Management and Defect Management Tools
  • Solid skills in Project Management, Resource Management, Change Management and Risk Management
  • Solid skills in developing automation test scripts for Enterprise applications
