UAT Tester (Assistant Manager)
The Department
Digital Experience and Innovation Department role is to build, cultivate and expand the digital ecosystem. This involves acquiring and engaging customers, particularly focusing on acquisition and activation, wagering interest cultivation, fostering loyalty, and mitigating customer churn through the digital touch points and platforms.
The job holder reports to the Manager, Digital Experience & Innovation (Testing) and is responsible for ensuring the quality and user-centricity of digital solutions across our mobile app, website, e-commerce platform, and cross-media initiatives. This role involves executing comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to align products with business objectives and user needs.
The Job
You will:
- Conduct end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT), encompassing test case design, data preparation, execution, and results validation across multiple projects and digital channels.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Development teams to clarify requirements, identify defects, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
- Develop and maintain detailed test cases based on product requirements and relevant technical documentation.
- Perform Live Configuration Tests following IT's system implementation to verify functionality prior to market launch.
- Execute compatibility testing to ensure the product operates smoothly across various mobile platforms, operating system versions, and web browsers, particularly during the release of new operating systems and mobile devices.
- Assist in preparing UAT and Live Configuration Test (LCT) reports, along with other administrative tasks such as obtaining stakeholder sign-offs.
- Advocate for best practices in testing methodologies and continuously improve the UAT process.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the manager to support team objectives.
About You
You should have:
- A bachelor degree or above in Information Technology, Information System, Business, or other relevant disciplines
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in UAT and software testing
- Strong understanding of digital products and customer journeys across mobile and web platforms
- Experience in writing and executing UAT test cases, managing defect triage, and preparing test documentation
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, with the ability to articulate issues and collaborate with diverse teams
- Proficiency in Mandarin will be an advantage
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and a proactive, solution-oriented attitude
