Warehouse Supervisor (1-Year renewal contract)

The Department

The Customer Strategy, Insights, and Innovation (CSII) Division is dedicated to cultivating customer-centric capabilities across the Club ecosystem and shaping customer strategies that drive business growth. Through a data-driven approach, the Division strives to achieve a 360-degree understanding and insights of owners, members and wagering customers, enabling the seamless design of end-to-end customer experiences across online and offline channels (Racecourses and Off-course Betting Branches). This is achieved by integrating Clubwide customer data onto a unified platform, creating a single view of our customers that empowers us to deliver personalised offers and unique experiences.

 

The Warehouse Supervisor plays a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of the retail warehouse. This includes overseeing inventory handling, order fulfillment, and staff supervision to ensure timely and accurate delivery of merchandise to retail stores and customers. The role demands strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence in a fast-paced retail environment.

 

With around 86 off-course betting branches, 2 racecourses & online platform, Retail and Telebet Services Department is committed to provide quality and efficient service to our customers.

 

Gift at Races team (GaR) aims to be the premier traffic & awareness driver to support Retail & Divisions in its field targeting segment customers.  And as a marketing tool for support on-course & off-course O2O program, new initiatives and projects includes but not limit to the expansion on point of sales & region coverage in HK & PRC among the department.

 

GaR is positioned as a marketing tool for the Club and being realised through the brand “Gift at Races”.  The vision of the “Gift at Races” is to develop quality merchandise for the mass, new segment, fans & tourist to:

  1. Sustain loyalty of existing fans
  2. Enhance the customer journey to arouse their repetitiveness
  3. Develop our products as a popular culture beyond the racecourses, branches and fans; both online & offline
  4. Be the “must-go” destination in racecourses and branches.

 

The Job

You will:

  • Promote Gift at Races as a branding vehicle and customer engagement tool to enhance public interest in sports and enhance customers journey at Racecourse or other Club’s venues via creative merchandising strategy and effective campaigns.
  • Supervise warehouse staff in receiving, picking, packing, and shipping Gift as Races merchandise.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management and stock replenishment to support retail store needs.
  • Perform data entries and ensures the updating and correctness of inventory records in systems
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with suppliers and transport partners.
  • Monitor warehouse KPIs such as order accuracy, fulfillment speed, and inventory shrinkage.
  • Implement and maintain OSH safety and cleanliness standards in accordance with company policies.
  • Support seasonal and promotional inventory planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with store managers and retail operations teams to resolve inventory or delivery issues.
  • Train and develop warehouse team members to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Operate and oversee use of warehouse systems and equipment (e.g., REMS, barcode scanners, embroidery machine).
  • Ensure compliance with Responsible Gambling Policy (RGP) and all stipulated legal requirements pertaining to wagering, thereby protecting the integrity of the Club’s business.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by Line Manager.

 

About You

You should have:

  • Higher Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a sizable Brand with warehousing or Logistic company.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Familiarity with retail inventory systems and warehouse management software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience in Windows and MS applications.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Flexibility to work weekend or evening shifts during peak retail seasons, willingness to work on race days when required, and availability to work on a roster basis to meet operational needs.
